Do you use AI for your designs or in your creative process?
No. We highly value the natural creativity of our artists. All designs, illustrations, comps and CAD drawings are generated by hand, using standard design and drafting software. Photographs of the actual wood slab surface are used to compose every design, and Rare Canvas uses only licensed photographs from photographers for our UV and Ink Block Prints.
We may on occasion use an AI generated or stock photography interior image simply to showcase different location examples for Rare Canvas art, but all designs that you see are original.
Do you use high quality and sustainable epoxy?
Yes. We use only the highest performance bio-resin content epoxy on the market; made in the USA. We spare no expense for having the most sustainable, bio-based formulations for both our deep pour resin and our seal-coat applications.
Do you deliver internationally, and how do you handle installation?
Yes. Our teams and partners enable us to drop ship crates of artwork anywhere that air freight and LCL shipments are accepted (terms apply). Wall art designs are engineered for simple, cleat installation, which typically can be handled by the customer's general contractor. Local installations around the Boise, Idaho area are typically handled by our internal team, for both commercial and residential projects. That service may extend to other states in the USA for special projects, incurring additional charges. Advanced lighting and electronic packages, integrated into our custom art, may require special audio/visual specialist installation by third party technicians. We regularly work with architects and contractors to ensure installations are professionally handled.
